Adventurer and author Dennis Stolen, of Stolen Moments Adventures, has himself taken this exact safari, and will take care of your safari booking from North America, and act as your personal consultant in getting you ready for your trip.

Kenyan-born Karoma is a trained guide who has shared his continent with hundreds of travellers for almost 16 years, while his Kiwi wife Tasha has worked with him since 2002.

With their experience as overland guides, and Karoma’s intimate knowledge of Africa’s geography and cultures, they make an unbeatable team.

The African Touch caters for all ages, including the mature traveler, and gives travellers the opportunity to enjoy Africa without having to stay in luxury lodges, or there is a safari lodge option for one tour.  Until now, only young travellers who are prepared to ‘rough it’ have been able to fully experience the excitement, magic and beauty of this stunning country. While The African Touch covers many major attractions, it also takes you off the beaten track so you can mingle with local people where travelers are never been, a highlight being a visit to Karoma’s Mama’s village. One of Dennis' favourites was a visit to the remote, nomadic Pokot people In western Kenya.
